Thanks for the warning. I’ll make sure to stand back a generous 15 to 20 feet should you attempt a spontaneous self-combustion. And I wouldn’t want to be at the table should you get a little too expressive while singing along to “The Knife Song”… Although a little pantomimed practice could effectively help your technique!

Re: Fire Video – I just checked out the video again, and yup, sure enough you are on fire momentarily. Can’t say you don’t suffer for your art…

Re: Video game – When I was in Lethbridge last, Joey was kind enough to jog home and return to the venue before we were finished packing up in order to give me a PS2 game, Kingdom Hearts. Technically it was a gift for a very special little boy in my life, but I didn’t let him play it for a long time because I didn’t want him to screw up MY Kingdom Hearts game by accidentally over-writing it (which happens from time to time in our household…). It’s pretty awesome. And dangerously addictive!!

So I think you may have missed this in watching the video but right after I threw it up in the air….. my arm was on fire for a lil bit (maybe we all are a little to intense).

I don’t have the plug-in and I shouldn’t download here (work laptop, acceptable use policy, and all that). However, I can both imagine and understand the stated vocal modulations you emitted.

Warning: Should I display sharp knives or burning torches that I claim I am about to juggle, move away with dignified haste. I don’t spend enough time practicing these days.

That’s EXACTLY what I was thinking: what if he made a mistake?! But he was super cool and despite my yelling, I did trust that he wasn’t going to hurt me. It’s a different story when you’re lying on the ground with spinning flame in front of your eyes. I can see it from a different perspective now…
