If a tree falls in the forest, and nobody is around to hear it, does it still play the wrong chord?

Last night we stayed at my grandfather’s farm which is just East of Swift Current, SK on the #1. It had been years since I’d seen the place and it was so strange to return. Imagine re-visiting your elementary school after 20 years of absence. It’s like exploring the set of a movie you’ve watched over and over: it’s hard to believe you were ever there despite the familiarity you feel.
In an attempt to showcase the magic of my youth, we ate Plume Mouse (Eeek – I don’t know how to spell that!) and some of grandpa’s amazing apricot jam. We walked through the junk yard. We fed the horse while two imposing bulls looked on (turns out one of them was lame though so I really didn’t have much to fear… <- sarcastic!). But it wasn’t a complete recap of my childhood: I managed to make it back to the farmhouse without ripping my jeans!
After a great stopover we made our way to Medicine Hat, the new home of Darren’s favorite Donairs. And he should be considered an esteemed judge of such things. Please see the photographic evidence I collected. Obviously a man of impeccable taste… (Samirs Donair on Carry Drive SE)

Doesn’t that look good?
Tonight I played a show at The Doghouse. They had good water and the chef made a mean bruschetta. Yup.

The most exclusive public washroom in Medicine Hat…
Cat girl,
If it is OK with you, I will just mentally convert that to “Plum Mousse” and assume it was a tasty, fluffy concoction of fruit and dairy.
Seems safer that way.

The tree will definately still play the wrong chord even though there was no one around….which is not entirely true because CNN was still there to cover it so the whole world will soon know their version of the truth anyway!
Mmm….pluma moos. I can’t believe d-bot let you post that picture. Joe thought it was hilarious!!
I believe it’s Plumi Moos, at least that’s what my Mennonite Treasury Cookbook says. Looking forward to meeting you sun evening at Duffer’s in Kelowna.
Hi Cat. Just got home after your show in Medicine Hat and plugged in your CD & am checkin’ out your website. Not real used to putting info onto a website but will keep tryin’ to figure it out so that others can know that your show was “Totally Classy Dude” (words from a late 40 something guy). I thouroughly enjoyed your professionalism and your clean pure vocals. You’ve learned your lessons well. Keep up the good work. Yoru had the hair on the back of my neck standing up so-to-speak. I envy those like you that can create with just words and a guitar. You do Canada proud.
